CEO & Founder
Julie holds a Masters in Business Law (France/ UK) and has 7 years experience as a finance and M&A solicitor. She created MyList group in 2012 as the region's first online gift registry then successfully launched Merit Incentives in 2016. Founder of WIN by FBC, General Secretary of the FBC, member of the DBWC, winner of EO Accelerator, finalist for the International Business Excellence Awards in 2015 (Inspirational Female Leader), winner of the French Creative Entrepreneur Awards in 2016 and listed as one of the most innovative Arab World Startups by Forbes Middle East in 2017.
Key Account Manager
Habab earned her degree in International Law from the Middlesex University in Dubai and has taken on several different important roles within the company as we have expanded over the years. From customer relationships and managing external communications in English and Arabic, Habab is now the Key Account Manager for corporate clients including Emerson, Mubadala and AD Ports.
Chief Financial Officer
Reon holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Financial Information Analysis from Clarkson University. He has over 7 years of experience working on financial services consulting services (insurance, sovereign wealth fund, banking, asset management and treasury transactions). He was a Senior Manager at PwC Middle East with experience in transfer pricing planning, legal/tax structuring, M&A planning & integration, supply chain restructuring, cash repatriation structuring, FATCA compliance, Regulation W compliance, and Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) compliance.
Mohammad Al Zeidat Partnership & Key Account Manager
Mohammad earned his MA in Marketing Communications from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and spent the next 10+ years in marketing and business development roles across industries including telecom, loyalty and banking. Most recently, he worked on the Mobily Neqaty loyalty program at AIMIA Loyalty Management as the MarComms then Partnership Development Manager. Mohammad has been working in the KSA since 2008 and has established strong business relationships across multiple organizations.
Prerna Sonawane Business Development Manager
Prerna is an experienced sales manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Consumer Services, Food & Beverage and Technology & Services industries. Skilled in B2B and B2C acquisitions, account management and communications, Prerna brings in-depth experience from the food tech industry where she managed 150 partnerships and monthly growth portfolio for Zomato.com, a leading F&B food tech company in the UAE.
Abdelrahman Haroun E-Commerce Project Manager
Haroun is an experienced project manager with particular expertise in helping e-commerce and technology startups. Haroun holds an information systems degree from Carnegie Mellon University in the US and combines both business and technical knowledge in the domain. He successfully manages and delivers mid-sized and enterprise projects for startups in various fields including fashion, medicine, retail and F&B.
Yasmine majored in Business Administration & Marketing from Cape Breton University in Canada. She has since continued to work in marketing at the Canadian University then shifted her career to retail as Visual Merchandiser at Aldo Group,MANGO and multiple international fashion brands including Armani, Moschino, True Religion, Philipp Plein, Etro, Zegna, Versace.
Tara Namdar Business Development Manager - Partnerships
Tara holds a bachelors in Business & Economics with a specialty in Marketing from Luleå Univeristy of Technology in Sweden. She has continuously lived and worked between the UAE and Scandinavia and has a proven track record in driving business excellence with core competencies in project management, sales and marketing.
Habeeb Ur Rahman
IT Project Manager
Habeeb is a seasoned retail and IT professional with experience in Business Process re-engineering, digitization of customer journey, Project Management, designing and implementing in-house solutions. Prior to Merit, he played a pivotal role in launching a mobile POS solution and gift card platform at Landmark Group.
Raza Ali Business Development Manager - Partnerships
Raza is a veteran in the e-commerce industry with 11 years of diverse sales and e-commerce experience as a Partner at Fyndus LLC where he looked after partnerships and vendor management in Pakistan. He brings strong communication, leadership and team building skills to his business development role to our office based in Oman.
Mounir Berhmani Business Development Manager - Partnerships
Mounir has built his substantial customer-facing background in Sales & Marketing, Communication and Business Consultancy & Analysis across Europe, the US and MENA dealing with major accounts from the world of FMCG, Hospitality, Retail Banking and IT. Mounir hails from France and was the MD of the region’s premier experiential gift box, Amagift where he onboarded the biggest service providers and F&B in the region.
